If you would like to book a Colour service please ensure you have had the necessary Patch Test a minimum of 48hrs before your appointment as we will unfortunately not be able to honour your appointment without one.

ONLINE BOOKING SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Patch Test Policy

Hair by Alketa salon operates a strict 48-hour Patch Test Policy. If you've not had a Colour appointment with us within the last 6 months you will need to have a patch test. Patch tests only take a few minutes to be carried out and can be done in any time of our opening hours.


Hair by Alketa reserves the right to automatically cancel your appointment 48hrs before your appointment if you've not had the relevant patch test. Should your appointment be cancelled you will lose your deposit.

Deposit

Our team will phone you directly to take a £30 deposit to secure your appointment. Should we not be able to collect a deposit from you then we reserve the right to automatically cancel your appointment.


Deposits will only be refunded or transferred where 24hrs notice is given of any appointment cancellations / alterations.

Services

Please phone or email the salon directly if you would like to book for a service that is not shown online. Please note, the service you book in for is the same service that will be carried out on the day and you will be charged accordingly. If you need to make any changes to the service you have booked for, it will need to be agreed prior to your appointment. Please contact the salon directly should you have any enquiries.

Your Account

You will need to register an account with us to use our online booking service. In order to register you will need a valid email address/username and password for your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, username and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, username and/or password. You agree to provide only accurate, truthful information.


We reserve the right to refuse service and/or terminate accounts without prior notice if you violate these terms and conditions or if we decide, in our sole discretion, that it would be in our salon’s best interests to do so.

Use of Online Booking Service

You may only use the Online Booking Service if you are at least 18 years of age and can enter into binding contracts (our site is not available for use by minors). You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords, login and account information. You will be financially accountable for all uses of our site by you and anyone using your password and login information. You may only use the Online Booking Service to make legitimate appointments.


We will use our reasonable commercial efforts to keep the Online Booking Service available on a 24 hour/7days a week basis, subject to necessary scheduled downtime for maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and system outages. Your access to our Online Booking Service may not be uninterrupted or available at all times. We cannot promise that our Online Booking Service will be error-free, that defects or errors will be corrected or that our site or the servers that make it available are free from viruses or other harmful components. You will not use any device, software or routine that interferes or attempts to interfere with the normal operation of this site or take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on our computer equipment.

No-Show Policy

We are committed to providing superior quality services to our salon clients. Customers are asked to cancel any appointments that they will be unable to honour a minimum of 24 hours in advance of their reservation. You must telephone the salon directly to cancel. Should you fail to cancel or reschedule within 24hrs your deposit will not be refunded.

PAYMENT POLICY

Subject to our Cancellation Terms, to the extent permitted by law, any payment received when booking services with us is a non-refundable deposit.


Cancellation Terms: In the event that you cancel an appointment within 7 days of the appointment date or you do not arrive at the salon, then your deposit will be forfeited and used to cover costs incurred by us in maintaining availability of our employees and resources. If you cancel an appointment more than 7 days prior to the appointment date, then the whole or part of the deposit will be refunded by us. Unused deposits cannot be credited to other bookings.
